In 2017, Ma was ranked 2nd in the annual ‘World’s 50 Greatest Leaders’ list by Fortune. So, how did Jack Ma become so rich and successful and what can young people learn from him?

In this video, we’ll share with you; 5 important lessons Young people should learn from Jack Ma. If you’re new here, consider subscribing so that you won’t miss other interesting videos like this. Lesson No.1 Embrace Rejections Jack started off as an ordinary guy with no connection to rich parents, relatives or neighbours, and he did not receive any fund from the local government while growing up. Ma said that when Kentucky Fried Chicken first entered the Chinese market, he applied for a job there alongside 23 other candidates.

At the end of the recruitment process, out of the 24 applicants who reached the final interview stage; 23 of them got accepted to begin work at KFC. Jack Ma was the only one rejected by the fast-food conglomerate. Jack also applied to gained admission into the prestigious Harvard University 10 times. And every time he applied, he was rejected by Harvard. Jack would later go on to say that these experiences (and rejections) made him used to being rejected. Getting to the business world, many of his ideas were rejected as being foolish but he wouldn’t listen to the sceptics. Lesson for the young people; To be successful in life, you have to get used to rejection.

You must be able to hear several NOs, in search of one YES. In fact, rejection did not only happen to Jack Ma, it’s what everyone who ever dream of greatness will go through. Whether it’s the author of Harry Porter, JK Rowling, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and even famous basketball superstar, Michael Jordan, rejection is what they all learn how to smile at.If you want to be a successful entrepreneur or anything significant, you must learn to embrace rejections.

Lesson No.2 Ignore the Doubters and Naysayers. When Jack Ma first introduced Alipay commonly known as Zhifubao in Chinese, many people rejected the idea. Alipay is a third-party and online payment platform like PayPal. People told Jack Ma that Alipay would never work. In fact, they labelled the idea as being STUPID. Today, Alipay has overtaken PayPal as the world’s largest mobile payment platform and China has quickly become a country with paperless money transactions. Lesson for the young people; Whatever you do or want to do, be sure some people would think you’re stupid.

These are usually negative people who don’t believe in themselves. These people would be in your family, your neighborhoods and sometimes they may be your friends. It doesn’t matter who they are or how close they are to you, even if they are your parents, they are dream killers who need to be ignored. Many people thought that electric cars were not possible and whoever had this dream was to be labelled ‘crazy’. Elon Musk has proved them otherwise.

Tesla is now the world’s biggest electric car manufacturer with the aim to make its cars affordable and available throughout the globe. Ignore the pessimists and go for your dream because even if you fail, you’ll still be a better person than them. Lesson No. 3 Live With Passion In 1999, Jack Ma presented his idea of starting Alibaba to 17 of his friends in his small apartment. During that period, none of his friends ever knew if the idea was going to work. However, those friends who believed him and decided to grab the opportunity believed in one thing; JACK MA’S PASSION!

Lesson for young people; Stop complaining that you don’t get people to support your vision. While many people will think you’re mad, if you’re truly passionate about what you want to achieve, someone will be infected with your passion. Passion is contagious. If you have it, some people who will have it alongside with you. In fact, sometimes people will not support you because of your ideas. Some people will not be visionary enough to see your idea the way you see it, but because of your passion, they will be willing to make some sacrifices for you. Steve Jobs put the icing on the cake with the quote; “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.

And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” If you love what you’re doing, you’ll be passionate about it. If you are passionate about your idea, everything in you will show it, even the hair of your head.

Lesson No.4 Focus on the mission. In an interview with American journalist and former talk show host, Charlie Rose; Jack Ma explained that the core competence and principle on which Alibaba is built is CULTURE.

Sure, technology is an important tool in today’s world. However, growing from 18 people to more than 20,000 young employees, Alibaba has to focus on the company’s mission, values and a culture of helping small company. Lesson for young people; Simon Sinek said, “Every company know what
they are doing. Many companies know how they are doing what they are doing, but only few companies know why they are doing what they are doing” WHY is the mission, the reason why you set
out in the first place. To grow a company, start a movement or change the world, you must know your WHY, your mission and be faithful to that all through till the end. Secret No.5 Don’t Make Enemies. One of the most unique aspects of Jack Ma’s philosophy is the idea of friendly competition. Jack Ma does not see his competitors as his enemies; rather they are friends whom he can learn from and who can challenge him to achieve his full potential.

Lesson for young people; The sky is big enough for all birds to fly. While life is extremely competitive, you’ll win life’s competition better and faster if you see yourself as your competitor. If you wake up each day to make yourself a better person, if you raise standard for yourself, if you don’t make excuses and you don’t stop being the best, eventually you’ll become better than anyone competing with you. In summary, if you’re a young person who wishes to become rich and successful in life;

Don’t be afraid of rejection. Get used to people saying NO to you. Ignore the negatives and the naysayers. Don’t allow them to kill your dreams. Live with a contagious passion.

If you’re passionate enough, you’ll get someone to make sacrifices for you. Know and never forget why you want what you want. Keep the mission alive. Don’t make your competitors your enemies. Compete with yourself.

Get better every day and you’ll end up being very successful.

Most Dangerous Ways To School | NICARAGUA

Every morning, the three sisters Julia, Yulissa and Kenya climb into their dugout in order to row to school. They live on the east coast of Nicaragua, one of the world’s poorest countries, and the youngest of them has just turned five; the oldest is nine. They row across the Rio Escondido. Not only is it one of the largest rivers in the country, it is simultaneously one of the most dangerous routes to school. While they have to watch out for snakes lurking in the trees over the river, the three sisters also struggle against the current and must ensure the dugout does not fill up with water - because it has multiples holes and could sink at any minute. Other classmates do not necessarily have it easier, because they live far from the river, and their journey to school takes them through the deep jungle. One of these classmates is 11-year-old Greyven. His daily trip di lui takes him through the so-called 'snake field', in which coral snakes and the infamous boa constrictor resid

exactly is the goop inside a lava lamp

Couple of tips.  For color, use  aniline dye.  I think it can be had for use as candle colorant.  probably find it on sleazebay.  You want a dye that mixes with the paraffin and not a pigment which consists of solid particles suspended in oil.  Second, to adjust the specific gravity, look into gauge fluid.   as in manometer fluid.  It is available in specific gravities from about 0.5 to 4.3.  These are chlorinated hydrocarbons but since they don't evaporate (if they did, they'd mess up the calibration of the manometer), there is no chemophobia concern.  The 4.3 stuff is really weird.  It has a viscosity similar to water but is so heavy that one might think there is mercury in the bottle. Hello and welcome to No Effort November, a series of videos for the month of November in which it is becoming increasingly obvious the title is a misnomer. Today’s video is about lava lamps! Yes, those things that hang out in the set unceremoniously. Just doing’ their globular thing. Speaking

A Scary Truth Behind the Original Bible Story

In this Book, Paul documents the links within the Sumerian creation account: The word Annunaki, he explains, means “Those who came from the heavens to Earth,” a phrase that made clear their extraterrestrial origins. Many of the world’s oldest mythologies claim that governance over human society began with dominance over human beings being established by superior beings or “gods.” And then the job of ruler ship gets handed over at a later stage to human governors or Kings .. The Bible originated from the ancient Sumerian text. Text found with the same story. Pre-dating the Biblical accounts by thousands of years. Documenting Ancient Aliens. The Sumerian story begins with the rulers coming down from the heavens. And the glyph for these rulers is a symbol pointing to the sky! The Annunaki were from the heavens. They were sky people! - WHY ARE WE HERE? A Scary Truth Behind the Original Bible Story | Full Documentary I’ve been a preacher for more than 30 years, I’ve studied and taught thro

1453 - Ottoman Wars DOCUMENTARY

The Eastern Roman Empire was under constant Ottoman pressure ever since the new conquerors appeared in the Anatolia. Although the Ottomans tried to take Constantinople on a number of occasions, they had to lift the siege of the city due to the Crusades of Varna and Nicopolis, the Timurid Invasion and the battle of Ankara, and the Interregnum period that happened after their Sultan Bayezid was taken hostage by Timur. However, after the victories at the battles of Varna (1444) and 2nd Kosovo (1448) against the crusaders of Wladyslaw III and John Hunyadi , the road to Constantinople was open and the new sultan Mehmed II set his sight on the city of the Roman emperors ... The Ottoman Empire attempted to besiege Constantinople and end the Byzantine Empire on a half-dozen occasions. But these sieges were interrupted by the Crusades, civil wars, rebellions and the invasion of Timor. However by the middle of the 15th century, the Ottomans consolidated their territory and finally entered a per
